DIY: Driftwood Necklace Pendants

Today's DIY: turn a piece of driftwood into one of these cute pendants! I love the whole hippy/ boho beachy look, and this is the kind of piece that fits in perfectly with that scheme. I've been seeing quite a few of these in magazines lately, although theirs come from an elite fashion house and cost upwards of $200. Seriously, where has the DIY spirit gotten to? Driftwood comes in abundance and is wonderfully free from your nearest beach, plus when you wear it you can boast about how you made it yourself! So let's go; get your DIY on!

DIY: Driftwood Jewelry Display Branch

Lately, I've been making alot of necklace pendants, and I've been trying to think of a use for this piece of beautiful driftwood I've had sitting in the corner of my room for ages- this is what I came up with!

Driftwood is such a nice thing to have around your house- it's beautiful, and smells like the beach, which in the middle of Winter is a comforting thing! Also, this jewelry hanger is so easy to make, it literally took me 10 minutes- so why not have a go yourself?? Instructions after the jump, chums!
